Project overview

Coldstar is an App for watching only Movies and Webseries online.It has various categories and filters for searching movies and watching such as Bollywood, South indian Movies, Hollywood and other regional languages also.

The problem:
When streaming video content, users face challenges related to irrelevant recommendations,and unwanted Ads feeling frustrated when they can’t find anything to watch and spending too much time searching for what to watch between different services.
The goal:
ColdStar provides users a platform and service where they can access all of their video streaming content in one place. And don’t get any recommendations and Ads which will interrupt them.

Understanding the user

We conducted five interviews to gain insight on what users want out of their streaming services: 1.Viewers are not interested in random recommendations that are not tailored to their preferences. 2.Viewers want the option to watch with family and friends as a way to connect - especially during the pandemic. 3.Viewers want all of their streaming content in one place to save time when deciding and finding what to watch. 4.Viewers want to have no interruptions while watching their favourite show they want zero Ads and no recommendations.
